Gutter Intallation, Repair & Guards

An effective gutter system is an integral part of your home’s roofing system. Properly installed gutters and downspouts protect your home from water damage, including erosion, foundation problems and wet basements.

Roofwerks provides professional gutter installation and repair for homeowners to ensure proper drainage. Our professionals are trained to install and maintain all types of gutter systems.

Gutters are increasingly viewed as an architectural detail, with a large mix of colors and textures available to enhance your home’s curb appeal. Our team will work closely with you to select an attractive gutter style that complements your home.

  • K-Style Gutter: The most popular gutter style, known as the aluminum ogee or k-style gutter, resembles crown moulding. These seamless gutters, available in 5” and 6” widths, are fabricated directly on your property and sized to perfectly fit your home. Many homeowners prefer seamless gutters because they are affordable, seamless, and rust-free.
  • Half-Round: These round gutters, available in copper, aluminum, steel and other metals, are often preferred by more discerning customers with traditional homes. They are manufactured in 10’ and 20’ lengths, available in 5” and 6” widths, and require a high degree of craftmanship due to the complexity of soldering seams and installing the gutters. Different fascia and crown moulding details require knowledge of appropriate hanger systems.

To keep water flowing properly, many homeowners install a gutter guard to prevent leaves and other debris from clogging the gutters. With hundreds of different products on the market, the Roofwerks team can help you find the right solution for your home.

Gutter systems are necessary to catch and carry rainwater from the roof of your home away from the foundation, doorways, decks or patios.

You may need to replace your existing gutters for a variety of reasons. Leaks in your gutters could be a sign that your gutters are past their useful life. If your gutters are holding water or have been creased, they may need replacing. Gutters that are heavily stained beyond cleaning can hinder the curb appeal of your home and should be replaced.

There are several styles and sizes of gutter to choose from in a wide variety of colors. For most applications, seamless aluminum, K-style will be the choice. They are available in 5” and 6” widths. The attached downspouts can be 2”x3” or 3”x4” diameter. The combination of gutter width and downspout width is dictated by the size of the roof, the pitch, and other factors. There are also box style gutters, half round gutters, and copper gutters. Roofwerks can also fabricate custom gutter.

For gutters to drain properly, they must be pitched toward the downspout. If you have a long section of gutter with downspouts at each end, the gutter will be pitched towards both downspouts, with the highest point being in the middle.
