FAQs

Absolutely. If someone is hurt on your property, you could be responsible. Don’t simply take a contractor’s word that they have insurance — anyone can provide you with a photocopy of insurance. The only way you can be certain that a contractor is properly covered is to request an insurance certificate from their insurance company. To obtain an insurance certificate for Roofwerks, contact Triangle Insurance at (919) 792-1680.

Roofing is a dangerous occupation and proper insurance is expensive. Many general contractors may carry General Liability insurance on their premises only, or for occupations other than roofing. This type of coverage does not provide any protection to homeowners.
