In 2024, we’re proudly celebrating our 18th anniversary, marking nearly two decades of unwavering commitment to our customers and our community.

Let’s rewind the clock to where it all began.  What an incredible journey!

In the early 2000s, two seasoned veterans of the roofing industry, Derwin Maness and Will Hayes, found themselves at a crossroads. With over two decades of combined experience, they shared a profound realization: the roofing industry lacked a local, customer-centric option. Customers were faced with limited choices, from uninsured “pickup truck” contractors to impersonal corporate giants or out-of-state firms fleeting in the wake of natural disasters.

It was this observation that fueled the inception of Roofwerks in 2006. Derwin and Will envisioned a company that would redefine the standards of roofing service in North Carolina. Rooted in a steadfast commitment to exceptional customer service and supported by a team of fully insured experts, Roofwerks was established to provide homeowners with reliable, high-quality roofs at fair prices.

Fast forward to the present day, Roofwerks stands as a beacon of excellence in the roofing industry. From our headquarters in Raleigh, we serve communities across central North Carolina, from Raleigh to across the state, and beyond, with a deep understanding of the unique needs of our region’s homeowners and businesses.

But our journey didn’t stop at residential roofing. Over the years, Roofwerks has evolved into a full-service contractor, catering to the needs of commercial clients and multi-family communities alike. We’ve expanded our offerings to include a coating division and sheet metal solutions, ensuring that we can meet the diverse needs of our clientele with unparalleled expertise and craftsmanship.
